New York City shoe lovers rejoice, a new DSW is opening on 34th street.
That’s right, a new DSW is under construction on 34th street in Manhattan. On the north side of the street between 7th and 8th avenues.
Just across the street and a few steps from Macy’s Herald Square, this will be the second DSW in NYC. Up until now, the only DSW shoe store in New York City is the one at 14th street Union Square.
With this midtown west DSW location opening, it will surely be a happy shopping destination for many New Yorkers and tourists.
Sign on the window says opening March 2012. yeeha!

Sexy red shoes are already springing up around town despite the cold tempuratures and the fact that it is still January. Red shoes are making a splash on the runway and the hallway.
In fact, walking past the windows of Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City last week, had me wanting to start shopping for something new to add to my shoe wardrobe. I snapped a few photos of some amazing shoe candy they had featured in the windows – red being the common thread that drew them to my eye immediately.
